Sound Therapy
What is sound therapy?
Sound therapy or sound healing, can be defined as a sound vibration and recovery treatment that brings our body and whole being back into balance at a cellular level. Everything around us, including ourselves, is energy vibrating at different frequencies. Our mind, body and emotions are an integral whole. Stress and trauma that isn't released causes a delay in the flow of energy. This stagnation manifests as tension of different varieties: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Sound therapy communicates with the cells through sound vibrations and brings us back to a balanced state of peace and harmony. It contributes to our health in a simple and natural way. Working with sound is working with subtle energies. Also, in the wakened state , the brain operates in the so-called Beta frequency range. With the help of sound therapy, Alpha and partial Theta states of the brain are included, those are the frequency ranges corresponding to deep meditation, a calm mind and clarity. In response to such a changed state of the brain, breathing slows, muscles relax, the heart rate slows and the mind calms. Consequently, we return to a state of energy balance.
